4th of July Celebration and Fireworks
Join us for the annual 4th of July parade beginning at 9:00 a.m. near Edgewood Elementary School and ending at American Legion Post 434, where the celebration continues. Wrap up the day with fireworks at a new location – Lake Vista Park – at dusk!

The Mayor’s Bike, Wagon, & Stroller Decorating Contest is back! Ages 12 & under can participate. This year, we have three themed categories:
- Mayor’s Theme: America the Beautiful
- Mom, I did it myself!
- Most Patriotic
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes will be awarded in each category. Please – no hover boards.
This event is hosted by Oak Creek Mayor Dan Bukiewicz in partnership with residents of the “Villas at the Station.” Special thanks to all who help and participate!
The annual 4th of July Fireworks Display will take place at Lake Vista Park due to residential construction near East Middle School. Lake Vista Park, 4001 E. Lake Vista Dr., will be the new home for this part of the city’s celebration.
Parking and viewing areas are available at Lake Vista Park and at Bender Park. Don’t want to drive and worry about parking? Shuttle Service will be available to transport people from the Legion to Lake Vista from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.
