Bacon5Kegs Run/Walk

Date: September 5

Location: Lake Vista Park

Celebrate International Bacon Day on Saturday, September 5th with a 5K followed by bacon and beer! All participants will receive a finishers medal, Special Swag, a T-shirt, and a bacon/beer filled lunch! There will be a social distancing party after the run, so bring a chair, enjoy delicious food and beverages, and take in the beautiful views of Lake Vista Park!

Masks will be provided and required at the start and finish of the race!

Awards:

All participants will receive a custom finisher’s medal. Top three male and female will be recognized as well as the top male and female in respective 5 year age groups.

Top 3 Males and Females will win one of the following (subject to change):

1st Place: Smoked Ham
2nd Place: Pork Tenderloin
3rd Place: Pork Ribs.

Other awards will be given to the following groups:

9 and under
5 year age categories (starting at 10yrs old on up)
Wheelchair Division

The Course:

The course takes place along the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan (map coming soon)! The start and finish line will be at the Lake Vista Park Pavilion.

Remote Runners:

The Remote Runner® option is for those people that would like the swag, shirt, bib, and medal from the event but cannot make race day. You can run anywhere! This is a great option for: people from out of state, people out of town on the date of the event, and those that are participating in the endurance challenge and want to count this event towards their total but cannot make race day!

The REMOTE RUNNERS ® packets will be mailed the week after the event.

10:00 A.M. : 5K Start

11:00 A.M. : Awards and After Party!

Early Packet Pick up:

Friday September 4, 2020 at 5Kevents.org Office, 215 6th street, Racine, WI 53405 (From 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM)

Early Packet Pick Up Participants can take advantage of local 2 for 1 specials on Friday or Saturday only just by showing your race bib to the following Downtown Racine Establishments:
